With only the barest of necessities you'll find real down home, hard working folks who have to travel at least 52 miles round trip just to go to the grocery store. You'll learn about the history of Goldfield very soon after stopping for gas or restroom break because the entire atmosphere speaks to glory days gone by. But even though the glamour and glitz of Goldfield is but a memory, the people of this very special town keep it buzzing like a hive of bees! THERE IS LIFE IN GOLDFIELD!

	The Goldfield Players Well, people used to go to Hollywood to hopefully get discovered-Mr. Director you need look no further for talent, The Goldfield Players (all local asylum residents) will amaze and entertain you with two delightful one-act plays: Dearly Departed and Fear of Rats.
